Flyover is looking for interns! These are part-time unpaid opportunities. If you’re a team player with a positive attitude and have 5 -10 free hours a week, we want to hear from you. Keep reading.

Just by arriving here, it means that you care about the community, you think Flyover is pretty rad, and you’re interested in helping us build something meaningful, right?

As an intern, your ideas will be essential to the development of our first festival under our new company—you’ll be asked to sit in on important meetings, pitch ideas, take charge of your own projects, and give feedback on some pretty cool things. You’ll also be doing some hard work. But don’t worry, we work hard, but we play hard too, so definitely look forward to the perks!

If you’re still reading this, and you’re still interested, ask yourself the following:

  • Do I understand why it’s important to lift up and shine a light on underrepresented stories?

  • Do I work well under pressure? It’s a festival, which means a lot of things happening at once.

  • Can people count on me to help steer things in the right direction with a good attitude? It’s new, which means we won’t always have our ish together 100%.

  • Do I enjoy working with little direction? Do I see feedback as a gift?

Deadline to Apply is February 10th, 2018. Positions are filled on a rolling basis; apply early.

Estimated start date is February 14th for most positions.

Interns can expect to work 5 -10 hours a week.

How to Apply

To express interest, please email Kyra at with the following:

  1. Subject Line: Festern [Your First and Last Name]

  2. Which position(s) you’re interested in

  3. A brief description of why you want to be involved and how you feel about the new Flyover Mission. This isn’t a formal cover letter; write as little or as much as you need to.

  4. An attached resume or a list of experiences that make you well suited to take on this position.

Prior to expressing interest please read up on us by visiting our About page and our Blog. It’ll help you understand the new direction of the festival and better articulate which role you might want to play in Flyover Fest. All interns must be available and present for the festival on April 27th and 28th.
